A safe place for children to explore, play, and grow, and somewhere the grown-ups can relax, connect, and build community.
Our Vision
We have reimagined the lion's den for modern families. Much like a den in the wild, the space is built to support development and friendship for the kids while giving the adults a sanctuary of their own.
Children get enriching, imaginative play and the chance to build real friendships. Caregivers get to relax, talk to another adult, or simply sit quietly with a coffee for the first time that day. Both of those matter equally, and the room is designed for both.
Families thrive together here, because every little lion needs a den and every caregiver deserves a home away from home.
Designed for Discovery
Every part of the floor is built around a different kind of play, so a two-year-old and a six-year-old can both find something that is genuinely theirs.
Little Lions Mane Street
A market, a doctor's office, a cozy house, a fire station, and a construction site, built for kids to imagine, play and explore.
The Indoor Playground
Our custom play structure anchoring the room, designed for safe climbing, sliding, and exploring.
Hands-On Play Tables
Building, tinkering, and taking things apart, for the child who wants to know how it works.
The Cub Corner
A dedicated area for kids under 24 months with age-appropriate toys and soft play, so the smallest lions have somewhere entirely their own.
A Sensory Space
When it is not booked for a party, the event room becomes a calm space with softer lighting and gentler activities.
Seating That Actually Works
Comfortable places to sit, with a clear view of the whole floor, and a cafe bar within reach.

Julianna Retherford
Owner and mom of two
As a mom of two energetic little ones, Julianna pictured herself in every part of Little Lions Play Den. The days she needed to take a Zoom call. The mornings she wanted to catch up with a friend over a coffee. She built the Play Den to be a second home for every family that walks through the door.
My favorite thing is seeing the connections that form here. Not just between the kids, but between the parents too. That is when I know we have created something special.

Cleanliness
- Daily deep cleaning of surfaces, toys, and equipment
- High-touch areas wiped down throughout every session
- A "yuck bucket" for anything that ends up in a small mouth
- Sanitization stations throughout the den
- Socks required for everyone in the play area
- A clear sick-child policy, applied consistently
